I made my first one today. Parsnip is tha main flavour but I chucked in a couple of spuds, onion and swede amd mashed it up, as Jamie O would say.

Just finished off a rather nice chorizo, chickpea and spinach soup the good woman made yesterday. Just the job after getting soaked on the commute home :smile:

I agree with that, a full thick vegetable soup is a complete meal that really fills the tummy to the limit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
