I'm doing my first sportive on Sunday, naturally, within a few hours of clicking "pay" the weather forecast has turned from fair to wind and rain!
I'm resigned to the fact I'm going to get wet, I have a cheap shower jacket that probably won't keep me dry for long, just wondering about how to layer underneath? I don't consider it to be particularly cold 16/17 forecast, but with the wind and rain rushing past I'm not sure how that'll feel.
That aside I'm still looking forward to it, it's a local 40 miler, and I'm doing it with a friend and just looking to roll around and enjoy.
