been commuting for around 6 months now on and off. Feel like a real commuter today as I had my first p*ncture while commuting. Changed out the tube and time trialled the last 10 miles to make work with 5 minutes to spare. Think it was a pinch flat as tyre looked fine, will have a better look at lunch.

I thought you meant the jolly fat bloke with a beard had left you a present until I read your post. I hope you always carry 2 tubes with you because trust me, it will happen!

I've carried a spare tube/levers/puncture kit for 2 years and 10,000 miles and never got a puncture (trusty M+ tyres)

I can guarantee that if I leave the spare at home I'll get one though. Maybe I should do a practice change to keep my hand in?
