Well my Triban T3 has had a good workout this week as have I. Completed my first week of commuting and have to say I have really enjoyed it. A few observations though.
The cycle paths from my house in South Queensferry are rubbish in parts. Overhanging shrubbery and cracked concrete.
Majority of drivers when I have been on road sections have been very courteous to me.
Black cab drivers not so much. cut up 3 times in 3 days in the bus lane at South Gyle.
There is a definite sense of smugness when your cruising past stationary traffic on a warm sunny morning.
I now believe that all learner drivers should take some kind of cyclist awareness course as part of learning to drive so they can see the dangers of road cycling for themselves.
and last but not least I love cycling :-)
