Hi all,

As hurricane Katia passes between us and North America she is whipping out a few of her cloud bands toward us. About half-way through this morning's commute a band came through. I ducked into a bus shelter and pulled out the Bontrager commuting rain jacket and BBB overshoes. Bus commuters look on curiously as I mounted Silver Wing, engaged the Bicygnals indicators and accelerated into the shower cool shower. It was very refreshing. Not enough rain to have it pouring down the vents of my commuter helmet but just enough to cool and encourage the legs. I really enjoyed it. The with the under arm zips down a breeze filter through to the back vent. My feet where dry and comfortable. I loved it.

It didn't last long but the gear was so comfortable (perhaps due to the stiff gusts) that I kept it on for the remained of the journey.

Good effort - But wait... what.. "Bicygnals" - thats a new one on me! Just googled them - I think if I had seen you with those I would have stared

They any good? Not sure how motorists would respond to them - maybe you can tell me. I find frantic waving of the arms is pretty good at getting their attention - also makes you wider
