Fish disappears during holiday!

Fish were named by my son: Blueberry, Blackberry, Strawberry, Raspberry and Gooseberry...no rhyme or reason to the names as they're not related to the colour of the fish...he knows which one is which.
It's Gooseberry that's done the disappearing act

checked below any tank decor, rocks or may be the branch's of plastic plants, any bodies that haven't been eaten by other fish would tend to get blown round the tank and settle between rocks or caught on branches & decompose.

what kind of fish are they? I'd love to set up one of my tanks again for little endlers but cant be bothered having to do another fishless cycle, ive no other tanks running at present that I could pinch mature media from.

Two are Platy, two are Danio :-)

ah both species would have made short work of polishing off tank mate. You'll be lucky to find anything left, poor old gooseberry was most likely used as food.

big problem with neons is years of breeding in captivity have resulted in weaker fish than there wild caught ones. cardinals although a little more expensive are much more hardier & likely to last should try those.

I found that neon tetras did not last. The larger tetras (sold as amazon tetras) last for years.
