Wheel needs a rim tape and where's the tube?

That screams TikTok-esque fakery to me!

Not even a tubeless valve installed, nevermind a tube.

Maybe rideable if you can get tyre inserts these days that resist significant compression and it was already inside the tyre?

Horrid and suspicious acceleration of method.

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
Re pinch flats, I always inflate the tube a teeny bit when putting the tyre on. I've never had a pinch flat. I don't know if the two are connected. (Yes, I normally use levers).

Re the trick. It might work, but the fact that it's been done with no tube makes me suspicious. I'm not tempted to try it.

I've got a really weird issue with a Panaracer Agilest Duro Folding 700c, it's the non TLR version I think.
One fits OK the other just has that "bump" around the valve area that is noticeable when you ride. I've refitted it X5 but it persists. Tried it on the rear wheel and same thing. I can't see any issues with the tyre and am thinking of sending it back to them. Am I doing something wrong ? I've fitted with different inner tube sizes and nothing works.

It likely just needs seating properly in the valve area. Do you push the valve up and the tyre beads down when fitting?

Thx, yes i've done all that on later attempts. I initially thought it was a crinkle in the inner tube but it's definitely all symmetrical now.

No. The only time I use string is as a third hand round tyre and rim when fitting Schwalbe marathon plus tyres.
