Hello

I'm fitting some s/h Avid Juicy 3s to my 2004 Stumpy FSR.

Does anybody know if there's a comprehensive list anywhere showing which mount bracket is reqd for a specific bike?

The fork is a Manitou Black & has radial (I think they're called 'post') mounts. At the rear there are just two holes on the seatstay.

Also, the lever is coming back to about 1/2" from the grip (I've temp mounted front one using ally spacers). Can this be adjusted or will it have to be bled? Is there an easy way to bleed it?

Thanks in anticipation!

They are 185mm. One disc came with the calipers & I've fitted it on the front.

presumably I need a 185mm disc on the back as well; I think it's an IS mount but Wiggle just list it for the front...

two holes that in in line with the axle would be for IS mount. usually the rear brake caliper is for 160 mm disc with no other adapter required.

if your calipers are post mount, then an adatper is needed.

as ^^^^ says, 160 mm disc is standard on rear, front can be 160 mm or 185 mm or 203 mm - the latrger the disc, the more stopping power - you'd only need the larger discs if you are extremely fat or bomb down vertical hills.
