Fill the expansion gap with cork strip

I would stop the flooring 600mm back from the door to create a well to place a mat in (wall to wall)
Running the flooring to the door where there is a greater chance of it getting wet ... Good old laminate !! (joiner)

I'd run it up to the door and let it " expand" somewhere else .
