IF you are happy with float why would you want go flixed? Your knees are certainly not fixed so they at least need a bit of float. I can't see there would be any improvement in you cycling with fixed float cleats unless of course you are track cycling

Do you know how much pain you can put you knees through if you get your floating cleats in the wrong position?

Good luck if you get the fixed ones in the wrong position.

Floating - my knees are bad enough as it is without having them locked into one position for any length of time.

Floating for me. Even when racing (at my level) the benefit of fixed is minimal. the gains are certainly not worth the potential pain.

Floating.

If I was in a position where I could have my position checked profesionally etc on a regular basis at no cost, then fixed may be OK, but as I do not want to damage my knees, I'll stick with floating as I found them to be a pain to get right at one point, and found that problem was caused by one shoe being marginally bigger than the other
