Hi, does anyone know what's new with the Exposure Flare 'MK2'? Nothing mentioned on their website and I can't see any differences...

Just a guess......

The main changes in the other lights are the gold port , USB charger and uprated output from the LEDs

I would guess at the latter being the difference

I think you already know this from your "the latter" comment (although the pedant in me wants to say you can only have a latter of two) but, just so anyone else doesn't get confused, the Flare doesn't have a port to be gold plated or covered, takes CR123A batteries so doesn't have a USB charger and has different LEDs from the CREE XPG R5s that other Exposure lights use.

Like MrP, though, I can't see any mention of a Flash or Flare Mk2.

I had assumed the OP had a knowledge of the Flare, so pointing out the former was unnecessary.

I have always though that a rear version of the Joystick would be a fantastic light
