FLAT 100 km (62 mile) ride from Garforth, Saturday 4th July, 2026

@colly... I have lost track of where your health/fitness is at the moment. Would you be interested in a rerun of this ride on Saturday, 19th September? Alternatively, 3rd or 10th October? (I can't do 26th September.)

The weather would have to be acceptable (no worse than sporadic light drizzle) - I never had much enthusiasm for riding for 5-6 hours in driving rain and cold winds, and I am even less keen these days!

If/when we agree on a date, I will start a new ride thread and invite others to join us there.

At the moment I am fine. I've been out a fair bit just recently, and did a flat 50 miles the other week.
I am free next Saturday (19th) too.
If its a goer I'm in.

Single speed or not ?

Edit: The Thursday Looks wet at the moment. Maybe it will be just Thursday.

For me it was definitely a singlespeed route, but you will probably remember that there are a few small hills to get over so you will have to decide if they would give you problems.

I will start the new thread this (Saturday) afternoon - it is getting a bit late to do it now!
