Flicking Switches

Now I am out of danger I was thinking why didn't she "flick my switch", tall, slim (but not too slim), blonde, good looker, open, smiler, friendly, yet my switch remained firmly "off".

Yet, there is another woman at work, I tell my workmates "That woman is gorgeous" and they look at me non plussed. She is an average looking woman who I wouldn't normally take much notice of (and I don't normally), and she is often blunt/rude to me. But when she talks to me directly, she has a mannerism, she uses her left hand to put her hair behind her left ear, then then looks at me with her head falling to the right and I am ga-ga. If she doesn't do this, then it's business as normal and I couldn't care less.

What flicks your switch?

Yeah but Clare Grogan is/was gorgeous, that's different to a "normal" person doing something that flicks your switch. I wear short sleeved shirts 90% of the time, but MrsF likes me to wear long sleeved ones, but just rolled up my arm a bit, she likes that, what's the difference?

Everybody with a pulse gets their flick switched, by somebody, somewhere. I am quite sure it happens to MrsF too, who also works in a workplace of 1000's.

Well if I said oh Claire in accounts or Sally round the co-op you'd be none the wiser. If they share the looks and mannerisms and sports knowledge of Kirsty G they'd flick my switch.
