Flipp the Stem Issue..

I have just flipped the stem on my bike a Specialized Allez Comp but once flipped it doesn't fit back together again because of the sleeve inside the stem..
So when the stem is pointing down it all fits together but once flipped so the stem is upwards it dont?

Got any ideas..

Looking at the pix - I would think that the sleeve is removable - might need some 'help' but then you can insert the sleeve the other way up

Hi heliphil..

Your dead right right the sleeve needs to be turned around as well, I found this out on about the tenth google visit.. one guy said you might have a sleeve that needs turning, but he was the only one on google that said it.
