Hmm - then they should say shallow fried. A chip pan is (clearly) a pan but is used for deep frying!However, I am informed that it is in fact as opposed to deep fried (as in Mars bar) or shallow fried. It supposedly signifies that not a lot of oil/butter has been used to fry something.
I dislike "sourced" and "hand dived" and "jus".
