Rule Britannia? They're having a laugh! Built in Italy, owned by Americans, manned by the league of nations. Is the thing even registered in Britain? I thought P&O had gone down the flag of convenience route, some of their ships are registered in Bermuda.

Cheaper insurance and the regulations are not as tight as the the UK's or Europes'.

Still have to abide by the SOLAS Accord though.

England, I believe. Bristol Virginia/Tennessee is quite inland, Bristol, Wisconsin is as well, and Bristol, Illinois was called Bristol Station until 1957.

Yes but given tht is seems to have no connection to the Bristol in England, I do have to wonder!
