How do you feel about flying? Personally, I hate it. Every time we fly somewhere, I always feel anxious beforehand. Once on board, all sorts of thoughts enter my head so next time, I will download lots of things on my tablet and watch it to take my mind off it. I know flying is regarded has the safest way to travel but when something goes wrong, every body is dead! I much prefer driving but it isn't always practical.

Its never bothered me. I make sure I have a bottle of water and some music and usually fall asleep.
Now airplane food! That's scares the hell out of me!!

Flying is boring!!
I am one of those people that can fall asleep on a pin head. But, on a plane, forget it! Twice, I have flown to NZ and haven't slept a wink the whole flight!!

I have a real hoodoo about it, I've deprived my family of nice holidays abroad because of it.

The only time I've ever been in a plane was a sponsored parachute jump last year, I figured if I was going to attract good money I needed to be doing something that REALLY took me out of my comfort zone.

I use it as my ice breaker fact on those unimaginative work courses that I have taken off in an aeroplane but never landed in one. Surprising how few people get it.

Not so keen on it, but ill do it under sufferance. My Dad has his PPL and insists on taking me up a lot, but the older I get the less inclined I feel to travel, and the need to fly diminishes.

I love flying, everything from parachutes to 747s. Gliding is particularly pleasureable. I've never felt any anxiety in leaving the ground, lucky I guess.

I am more scared of getting an obese person sitting next to me than I am of flying.

i don't enjoy it, but I don't panic over it. Worst experience was sitting next to someone who was absolutely panic struck. We didn't even leave the ground before he needed the help of the air stewards, they were very nice and moved him to the front but we still couldn't leave, eventually he got off the plane, and the flight took off quite delayed. I felt very sorry for him, he was trying to overcome his fear but a bit of his terror did rub off on that occasion and I was glad when we landed at the other end.

10,000+ hours and going strong (sort of). Looking forward to retirement but I'm not sure yet how I will feel about not flying again in seat row 0 (the one with lots of windows, tv's without movies and radios without music). Been doing it 33 years. Not been on an aircraft for holiday for about 5 years, I don't mind the flying but the airports are utter hell holes.

We were in Puerto Banus for a week with our daughter, we then were heading off to tour around by car while she was supposed to fly up to Barcelona and meet some friends. She got to the gate, phoned her mum to say she couldn't get on the plane. She headed to the airport car hire, hired a car and drove from Malaga airport to Barcelona in one day. That is how much she hates flying, 1,000 K to Barcelona with just one stop for a pee. I now call her, one pee Kate.
