FNRTTC Brighton Nov 2011 Help Needed.

I took this on Saturday, whilst doing the Invicta 300km Audax. And all credit to the rider, as he was just about to leave, when I arrived, so was going at a fair pace.

Unless I'm mistaken the bike and owner have also completed "The Beast from the East" 600K" audax ( see pg10 of relevant thread over at "the other place")

He can have my bike if I can have his legs!

Having just read the entire thread, I hadn't previously realised that it was a photo of "that" bike.

I'm amazed it's still going, and really hope he's done some serious repair to it, like throwing the tyres away and buying a new pair.

As I recall Tim H borrowed my emergency cone spanners at the Madeira Cafe, and got it marginally more workable than it was before, but I was just amazed that he made it to Brighton without something nasty happening. At one point he overtook me on the run downhill to the front, and the only reason I could that this was reasonable behaviour, was that using his brakes at that point may have instigated the rear wheel exploding.
