Folding Bike Bargain?

A waste of £120 in my view. The angles are strange. It has nasty parts and unless you are of diminutive stature - the seat post is way too short. Save your money and buy a second hand Dahon if you're after a folding bike which actually works.

Same design is no doubt less elsewhere.A heavyweight BSO.The 'minimum information' tells you that.

I got the same offer in my email and considered posting it on here to see if it was any good. I decided I already knew the answer from the phrase "Original value based on future selling price" ,the website having nothing on it other than this offer, and the legally required wheel reflectors being listed as a feature.

It's very rare that groupon offers more than someone else's tat there days.

I disagree, this week we got a load of fresh produce from a local farm for a very good price.

We have also had some other good offers, you just need to know what things are and how much they are worth.

About the bike ... We also saw this, thought about it for as long as it took to read between the lines and like others discarded it.

491 buyers!

Now having seen the pics it has a few good design features.
Though the pannier rack seemingly being part of the frame does hint that it is heavy steel.

I bought one of these folding bikes, thinking it would be ideal for commuting to the train station each day.

However, I'm not impressed with the quality, the gears do not work, and the instructions are in Spanish. I would never have paid £119 for it had I known. It certainly isn't worth the £299 'future selling price'.

As it has obviously shipped in from Spain or some Spanish colony somewhere, I probably won't have a hope in hell of getting my money back, or claiming under its supposed 2 year guarantee.

A lesson learnt! Anyone else had a similar experience?

Cheers.

edited - for some reason thought it had a Sturmey hub.

The gears are standard budget Shimano so am sure can easily be adjusted.

Bikes do not travel well.
