If you manipulate the wax from a mini baby bell* enough. It soon resembles blue tack in consistency & playability. I have mad a perfect cube and a perfect ball.
Just going to stick up a poster to see if it works.

*Purple Cheddar Version, have yet to experiment with normal red version.

I have found that if you collect enough of them, you can encase a whole block of Wensleydale, allowing the natural gases to build up and explode in the cheese drawer.

Talking of explosions, I have just witnessed a tragic accident - looking out of my window onto Kentish Town Road.
A dainty damsel on a bike dropped a pack of (probably hideously expensive) mache / lambs lettuce - something like that - from her basket into the road as she cycled along. A little white van rolled over the pack causing a loud 'POP' - and the green innards were comprimised...

That's enough waxing lyrical, back to the wax - sorry Ian.;)

What a beautifully lyrical epitaph to a bag of lettuce....;)

bluetack and babybel covers pale into insignificance next to the modern silly/bouncy putties. When they bounce into oblivion, presumed lost, they can still be found when you come to move furniture. The bright blue one, if squished flat under a chair will, over time, transfer its' colouring to the carpet.

I make tetrahedrons out of foil wrappers and cheese wax. I used to make (nearly) perfect spheres and then moved onto cubes before the tetrahedrons. I also make tetrahedron jewellery boxes, out of wood not foil or wax.
