Considering a Fondreist Tf3 1.2 frame & fork for a self build.

I am interested in any opinions from people who have ridden a Fondreist, owned one or has a mate who has etc.

When I say self build - I mostly mean I will source the parts & get a pro to build it.

The frame/forks also comes with aero seatpost

Before anyone gets over excited, this will (if it happens) be very much a long term/slow burner project, so if I can fund the frame, the groupset, wheels, finishing kit will come together as & when funds are available.

In advance - thanks for your opinions.

They've all been aluminium. The company used some pretty advanced techniques for the day-CNC chainstay arches on a road bike as an example-and then put some ace paint jobs on 'em. I'll put up a couple of pics when I pick up the new one in a couple of weeks.....
Can't wait 2 C photos @dan_bo.

I am so wanting this frameset but also wanting a Giant TCR & a Cube Peloton.

Been away from CC a short while doing lots of O.T.

Its a lovely piece of kit in fairly good condition for its age. Maurice was a fairly early adopter of tube manipulation technologies and cnc machining. Check out the stay yoke:

Yeah check it out. Like I say there's a couple of scuffs here and there but it's solid. I'll be building it up over the next week or so. Chuffed-always wanted one. Good price as well.

A friend of mine got a TF3 with Super Record six months ago, he's really happy with the ride quality.
It looks stunning, too!
Cheers for the response.

Super Record out of reach for me (maybe 105) & the way the job is going - possibly anything (local government worker).

Still - might scrape enough beans together for the frame/fork & then commence a VERY slow build.
