Super Record out of reach for me (maybe 105) & the way the job is going - possibly anything (local government worker).

Still - might scrape enough beans together for the frame/fork & then commence a VERY slow build.
Nothing wrong with 105, had it on my old bike, worked flawlessly.
Go for the frame & forks but put 105 & cheap-ish wheels on to begin with.
You can always upgrade later.

Sounds just up my street that.

I currently have excellent Sram Force 10 speed on my Sintesi but 105 would not phase me at all - very respectable kit.

Hopefully that street won't become the infamous (Doley St off t.v documentary).
