Food past its sell by date.

I moved a set of drawers that our fruit sits on, and at some point a banana had fallen behind and looked like yours though it had left a small mark on the carpet. But no mould... Just dried!

I hope your last day goes well! Are others leaving too?

There's another eleven staff leaving tomorrow. Five have departed before us. There's another five known planned departures from other departments to pastures new and more are anticipated.

After the shenanigans last night in the science department a young dynamic science teacher decided to hand in her notice and the remainder of the department are choosing to continue as they were knowing full well that management threats/actions carry little weight as the last two job adverts for positions in the department didn't even generate any enquiries/requests for application packs.

Meanwhile the beatings continue until morale improves.

I have been ploughing my own furrow and have been unaffected, apart from redundancy, by management decisions and actions. I am happy to leave but I'm sad for the staff who choose to endure the mayhem and distrust generated by the powers that be. I'll miss the kids but not the toxic atmosphere that is all pervading.
