Has anyone else tried the Graze.com food boxes? What do you think?

For those that haven't seen them, basically they deliver a mix of dried and fresh fruit, seeds, nuts etc. to your home or office once a week (or however often you choose).

They do an energy package, which I thought I would I would trial because I sometimes feel a little lethargic in the afternoons after riding in and I never really know what to eat after the obvious banana or bag of raisins. And getting a surprise each week as of what is going to be in the box is good too - this week I got an Apricot/Goji Berry mix, a Cajun seed mix, Macadamias and ... well OK it was some raisins. That wasn't so good then.

I only signed up a few weeks ago. I'm in two minds because it is a little pricey for what you get (£2.99 for about 150g of food) but it is delivered, and you do get a tailored mix.

Are there any similar alternatives (short of keeping a drawer filled with an assortment of different foodstuffs)?

Now for the blatant self promotion - if anyone does sign up to graze if use the code KZCXT52Y I get a slightly cheaper box and you get a free one. If you'd rather pay, or use another code, heck its no puncture in my wheels.

That's working out at £20/kg. I think I'll just stick to making sandwiches the night before.

+1. Sounds a bit of an expensive way to get variety in your diet. I go with the desk drawer option myself - a few energy foods for times when I feel in need of a perking up - especially stuff with a long date on it.

I do like how it's a "Database Development role - Oracle/Access" but knowing Oracle or Access programming skills are the only skills being listed as "may be of benefit" !!!

What's "Virtual Basic"?

Re the OP: I buy packets of seeds, nuts, berries, dried fruit etc from supermarkets, health food stores. Works out much cheaper. There were/are a lot of Christmas nut selection bags going cheap in the supermarkets at the moment.

Virtual Basic is an event-driven programming language - compliments of Microsoft. it's generally known as VB (ie. VBScript etc).
