That's a good broadcast...didn't have time to watch it last night.
My Scotch 'taster' glasses are like the bowl he has - but with a stubby base - no stem.
That sort of thing.
Trouble is -I am now out of Whisky - only a bottle of Chivas Regal left

When I worked at the PanAm bonded warehouse at Heathrow about 125 years ago, Chivas Regal and Cutty Sark were far and away the most popular whiskies with the Yanks. Nuff said

I tend not to drink blends these days assuming that they are inferior. Am I wrong in thinking that if RP is a master blender?

I'm a bit the same as you.

I think in some cases though they can be better.

I think a quality blend with be far better than a bog standard malt.

Yeah but no but. Nice vid again but I think I'm going to stick with single malts.

We keep a bottle of blend in the kitchen for cooking. I have been known to have a quick glass while I am preparing a meal. My wife is always a bit surprised how quickly the kitchen whisky disappears. Sometimes, the harshness can be refreshing.
