Compare the geometries for the two bikes in the applicable sizes. Medium PX bikes seem to suit 5'10ish

Why? Just compare the numbers, reach and top tube are the important bits. I expect it'll be too small, depending on what Cannondale it is, as they tend to be on the larger size. How tall are you?

Top tube is 53cm from centre of seat post to centre of steerer tube
Reach is 64cm from centre of seat post to centre of the the join between where the bars meet the stem.
Hope it helps a bit.

However, that means your height is in your torso so may ride a larger bike for your height

Do bike shops give their employees height out on the description?
It's an excellent "as new" carbon fibre bike. Go figure!! That's what you do when you buy a bike for 10 times this price, and they are new.
