My latest project. Just finished - and now I’m moving onto the next. Every single part bar-none: has been purchased new vintage, NOS old School or Brand New [Hence why listed as ‘New’] - apart from Frame and Forks which have just been stripped, sympathetically bead blasted, PowderCoated and lacquered to finish. From the shape and Geometry- I’d guess the F+F to be early to mid 1980’s.
So this was built and intended to be Old School looks, with some select quality modern parts (Stem, seatpost, Repop Dia-Comp MX1000 Brakes and seat-clamp; modern DiaCompe Brake levers, 4130 Bars etc) to give some added new school performance and ride-ability.
I’m a Mechanical Engineer by trade and this bike is absolutely mint and 110% mechanically [And I don’t say that lightly !]. It has been built with no cost (As such) or time constraints on quality of the build. Zero market of any sort whatsoever , F+F were exceptional and dint / dent free etc to start with - which is why I bought them. The bike is likely even better in the flesh than the pictures: and should ride like an absolute dream 👌
