I've got the Boardman version of these which can be converted to a gillet, only Stevie Wonder and others with severe eyesight limitations couldn't see me coming on my early winter commutes.

When l got mine, l persuaded our daughter to walk along the lane, as l played a torch on her
They’re quite astonishingly visible!!!

Taking the sleeves off, which weirdly are part of a secondary (upper) back, negates part of the advantage of these jackets; the added visibility when signalling

It’s got to be below 10degrees, or they’re a ‘boil in the bag’ type of coat
