Pro tip. To take of a wing mirror hit downwards from the top. Wing mirrors allow for some back play but no up or down. If you hit it down you will take it off.

You can get portable battery powered grinders. Not as powerful as mains ones though. No idea why you would have one in your hand whilst riding a motorbike though!
