I'm all for it. Twice this week, I've been forced to relax a bit:

Firstly, working on a computer job on Thursday, it was mainly cut and paste between two windows. One window was a database and within it I had to open various tables. It was running fairly slowly, so that once I'd cut, I had to wait for a few seconds for the right page to come up. At first this was stressful, but then I realised, it could be relaxing, because I was working as fast as I could, and was limited by the computer, not myself. So I didn't need to rush, in fact there was no point in rushing.

Secondly, yesterday for the first time I drove the work electric vehicle. She's not fast - one tends to get undertaken by cyclists. Once you've moved off, it's foot to the floor and stay like that until you need to slow down, and you can't possibly go too fast (certainly in speed limit terms and also in safety terms - your stopping distance is tiny at that speed). Again, at first you feel frustrated, but then you just realise that all you can do is drift along and go with the flow.

There should be more forcible relaxation.

I had to wait in for something to be delivered this week. After feeling a bit frustrated it was quite a nice slob.

I feel guilty watching Ray, I'm usually holding a glass of wine and basking in the central heating when he's on.

I wouldn't worry. I mean he doesn't look like he's ever on the edge of starvation, does he?

I love the way, the minute he has a moment spare, he carves a spoon or makes a basket or something. That's sort of cute, and so un-macho that I can only assume that he has absolutely nothing to compensate for...
