Formatting problems when posting..

Yes, I'm really struggling to deal with this currently - especially since I'm not know for my brevity when posting...

Lots of little flashes of rage when I make a typing error, backspace to correct and yet again the whole bloody body of text starts migrating up the page making what should have been a two-second correction into a needlessly protracted re-formatting exercise involving the mouse and often repeated attempts to get the sodding paragraph to stay where it's supposed to..

This problem's been about since this software was launched and while we don't pay to use the forum, the software isn't free and being one of the most popular forum formats surely it's not too much to expect this to have been sorted out by Xenforo...?

Another tortured scream into the void in abject desperation to get this fixed... it remains utterly infuriating and tbh I'm increasingly just binning half-written posts after getting sick of having to repeatedly re-create multiple disappearing page breaks.

Surely it's not that difficult to sort out - I'm on a number of other forums running Xenforo and none suffer this issue any longer..

@wafter I never had the issue you're having, must be frustrating
Maybe you could open note pad or similar, write your post, edit it then copy and paste to CC.

Thanks; that's really bizarre. What device and browser are you using to view / contribute to the forum?

Thanks for the thought; I already do that when writing large posts and the frustration becomes unbearable; it's too much faff for small posts though.

Hi @wafter, I'm mostly using Edge on a windows 11 laptop.
Sometime I use Chrome on the same device.
But even using the Samsung browser on my Samsung tablet for CC works fine for me.
