For all you Formula One fans how are you taking the new descision to share the broadcast rights with Sky Sports? Meaning the BBC will only broadcast half of the races live over the F1 season.

This will mean people like me who do not subscribe to sky sports will have to incur an additional £10.50 per month charge just to see half of the f1 season, i know this isin't alot to some people but i feel like i'm having my tv licence is loosing more and more value!

any other dismayed users ??

I think they already have. Sure I read somewhere that BBC get the Monaco, British and penultimate races. Which means Sky get the last.

It's my last F1 season. I'm not watching it on Sky (apart from anything else, F1 is literally the only telly I ever watch and I'm not paying a licence fee plus whatever outrageous amount Sky want to charge for bombarding me with shoot and treating me like a moron in my own house) and I'm not interested in watching half a season. My telly will replace my computer monitor at the end of this season, my digibox and DVD recorder will go on ebay and I'll send the licence back to the BBC, perhaps in a box with a turd.

I hated the commercial breaks when ITV were doing F1 and thought the Beeb were doing a much better job.

After recently downgrading our Sky package as the movies and sports were not getting used, I refuse to upgrade just to watch a handful of commercial break ridden races.

There is no way am I paying Sky. I just refuse on a matter of principle.

I've been watching F1 since about 1989 when I first started to take an interest and have seen virtually every single GP since 1991. Now the end is nigh.

Anyone want to buy a telly? i have no other use for it.

BBC will half the races live and highlights of the others. Sounds like the late 1970s when all we got was a highlights show.

Progress.
