It is particularly dull, battery technology isn't quite good enough to race hard, and they are all on street circuits which are boring by design.

Duller than dull, in my opinion. Most of the tracks seem to have hardly any passing places.

I prefer motorcycle racing, where there are generally no mid race pitstops (unless the weather changes profoundly mid race) and so all the overtaking is done on track. Also they dont have a team of engineers radioing them with changes of strategy in the middle of the race.

I think Formula E would be better if tyres were skinnier, so there was less grip and more sliding about. And the cars would be narrower so maybe more overtaking opportunities.

Watched a few if it just happened to be on as I was channel surfing...don't mind it, a bit bland..but where the 'excitement' is is at the last lap or two, where battery capacity, and how a driver has handled his race comes into play. Last lap is where it all happens.
