Fort william

Well I've just arrived in fort William well (onich really) as my uncal has a house there we travel back Sunday afternoon!!
Any one recommend some good mountain biking!! I will need to hire some bikes as ive left mine at home!!

Go down to the Nevis Range. There are marked trails there to suit everyone. Quite a bit is not waymarked, so there's lots to explore too. They have a skills area where you can practise doing red/black/blue type problems. There's a cafe and if you get fed up you can take the Gondola up and depending on your skills you can do the world cup downhill course. Personally I find watching people do it from the top cafe hard enough.

Try http://www.neviscycles.com/ at Inverlochy for bike hire , usure about off beat bikes in fort william , they have recently been taken over by alpine bikes
Also defiantly recommend that you check out wolftrax bike trails just north of fort bill at laggan , basecamp MTB run regular uplifts and provide kona hire facilities onsite.
