I always keep an eye out for anything interesting & spotted this yesterday, close to Middle Peak Quarry, Derbyshire, being used as a gate-stop.
(Should have put something on it for scale, but there's a beer can top left.)

The main area is approximately 6" across.

You sure it is not an old calcified washer or something? Lots of things that look like old bolts in the image.

I've found some good knes here. Its ancient Jurassic sea bed andnthe builders are digging the place up and I've found a few.

Did consider paleontology for a degree but couldn't spell it.

Crinoids?
You can get a cream for that.
