So just ordering the Kinesis T2. Please can anyone help with size comparison?

My Ribble size setup is perfect... frame is 56 center to top. 56 top tube with 110 stem, 30mm spacers

The kinesis is 57 center to top. projected horizontal top tube is 56.8, actual 55.9. SO would need a 10mm shorter stem. 10mm less seat tube showing, 10mm less spacers because of slight tt slope.

Does that sound like the right selection, or should I get the 54 and get a 10mm longer stem, more seat tube and same spacers as the ribble (30mm)

I worry as I had a 57cm triban for a few weeks and it was too stretched, and put a 90mm stem on it, but it still felt shitty.

Thanks.

I've got 25mm tyres and full SKS chromoplastics on a Dolan Preffisio frameset - £199 for alu frame, carbon forks and seatpost. Full mudguard and rack eyelets. Not the lightest frame in the world but an excellent winter trainer/commuter choice.
How strange, I thought that was the same frame as the Ribble frame I have. What tyres are you using? Is it tight?

Why not contact Kinesis directly for advice  The benefit of smaller, British companies

Stick 23mm tyres back on. Christ ! New frame just cos 25mm tyres don't fit. Your money though !
Heh, few other reasons but thats the main one. Its a really harsh ride with the 23c on, definitely slightly better with 25c on.

I hate the garish Ribble stickers all over it and the Dove family namelogo.
The paint is poor, it chips and marks so easily its irritating.
I was really messed around by Ribble when buying this frame.

Good for a hundred squid though.

I've not had problems with Michelin Pro4 endurance in a 25mm, also fitted the carbon recently. £25 from Wiggle right now
On you Genesis? I like that frame but it too expensive for me atm. Can buy this Kinesis and sell the Ribble, keep the forks. Total 1/3 of price of the Genesis.

Get Conti 4 Season 23mm tyres ! Or Michelin
Would they not be firmer than the Conti GP4000s? Or is there a size diff?

I had gtorskins on for a while, they were firm, but couldn't wear them out it seemed. Even sold them on eventually.

schwalbe durano plus - the clearance is quite tight but not too bad. I don't have any problems with rubbing etc.

Well I ordered the Kinesis in 57. Need to flog the Ribble frame and headset, how much it worth in almost immaculate condition?

What someone who wants to buy it is prepared to pay in the end. You said it cost £100 and is marked, so maybe £50-70? Stick it in the classifieds and on eBay and it'll find its price (less 10% at least on the latter)
