I feel cheated.

I have a 2 year subscription to Cycling Plus & didn't get a Buff..

however, I only pay less than half the cover price which makes up for it.

Best deal was the Cyclist subscription, reduced price & a pair of Schwalbe Durano's (approx £35 pair)

A lot of these freebies are just tat.
I'm a subscriber, my copy turned up today, buff included. Give them a ring/email.

I would @StuAff but..

a) I am lazy/can't be bothered
b) I am a fair weather (see soft) cyclist
c) If I were to venture out in seriously cold, I would use a Northface or other expedition type company neck tube

& why doesn't a company do heated grips for cycles (like you can get for motorbikes) ? ...
some sort of battery heating system.

not that I would buy them (therein might lie my answer)

Yes, it seems a bit of a palaver to have to buy a magazine and read about 300 sportives up massive hills just to get one....
If the magazine is cheaper than the RRP of the Buff then it seems like a good deal to me...

I nearly accidentally bought the October issue this morning, which was what my local Smiffs had on the shelves... obviously the Nov issue hasn't had time to get up to Northumberland yet...
