Freewheel thread covers

I didn’t know about these but if you’re running a flip flop hub you can hide the threads on the other side if you are running one sprocket.

! I ended up using a strip of innertube I think - when I had a flip-flop hub on a BMX. The easy way to cover it up and provide some protection to the threads. But I’d have jumped at one of these…..👌

On my single speed, I always have a fixed sprocket on the other side, to mitigate the risk of the freewheel failing.

But otherwise, a good idea.

If you don't want a flip flop to be flipfloppable, with a choice of sprockets or fixed/SS it's a really good idea.

But I do want flipfloppability.
