We had a (Cornish) hamper sent to us yesterday. In it are 2 enormous pasties. Not being well we cannot face eating even one of them.
There are no heating/freezing instructions at all.
1. I assume they will freeze ok.
2. When we are ready I assume they will need defrosting thoroughly before reheating.

Any thoughts ?

Well that is our divorce problem. MrsD is jam first.....I am firmly in the cream first camp.

You'll be fine as long as you remember it's " Jam First " 👍

WHAT no butter  - butter, jam then cream

Cream first, not because Devon but because science. The fatty cream waterproofs the scone and prevents the aqueous jam from penetrating the scone matrix and destabilising it. It’s why you put butter on bread. Nobody puts jam first, then butter on a jam sandwich.
