In contrast to the rancid forecast it's bright and quite sunny but awfy breezy up here today.

Sleep was punctuated by the car alarm going off. CCTV footage doesn't show any animals partying on it. Tried a few random things, like you would with a woken infant, and it stopped going off. It's still on its original stop start battery after 10 years so I think I know where this is headed in the short to medium term.

Coffee will feature today, as will bike fettling and battery conditioning.

Morning Workers and shirkers, busy day at home today. New carpet to be fitted, window cleaner coming, guy coming to see a bike im selling, fetch my bike back from LBS. The above will be also involving lots of coffee. Blue skys and sun to enjoy what more could I ask for.

Late finish as juniors flight eventually landed at 1am, but at least the roads were clear so home by 2am...bit of a lie in and some coffee should see me through. Going to hit a balmy 27c down here in Kentshire so doors and windows open in the cave.

I think you're in luck. According to some forecasts, summer is scheduled in for next week. It's the last week of the school term so it won't last any longer.

Work fun followed a weekend away in the van. Hopefully circa 25 miles away so I can cycle there, then cider time 😎
