Morning.
Another lovely day here. Set to change later.
WFW then maybe WFH later. Seems no budget this year for new £3k laptop. That'll be interesting in a couple of weeks when the old one falls over and I'm working off site and unable to do my job! I told my manger this....

InstaJava first. Follwed by more.

Morning all. Just about to head north to the land of Dracula. A wkend of bikepacking planned care of DirtDash event. Should be fun, weathers saying potentially 20mph headwinds. Hope you all have a decent wkend. Good luck on getting a new laptop photonic. We need a new programming laptop for site and they dont want to pay 3k for a refurb let alone 7k for new one.

Nice sunny day down in Kentshire, shall be working in shorts down in the cave and supping a bit of flavoured instant while fending off pitchfork and burning torch wielding coffee afficionados 😊 The might be a bit of number torturing and skewering of idiots in the meantime.

Hopefully will be warm enough to lounge outside later on.

As I told my colleagues shortly before my final contract wasn't renewed, anyone working from home in this heat should really be naked from the space-bar downwards.

Car shopping for teenage use beckons. Let's see if I can put together a scenario that calms the insurance modellers.

As to first comment 😫. As to car hunting for a youngster and appeasing insurance vultures, good luck. If its a first car then Aygo / C1 / Picanto are all pretty bombproof and reasonably cheap to insure. Just beware limited edition or hi spec ones as it pushes 2nd mortgage cost up.

Nice walk with hounds and then decent run with a pal, fall out with the wife and now work snizzle.

Later was meant to be a party but cancelled due to the hosts parents being in need of care, so might be able to meet my parent in town otherwise it’s the local

Morning
Overcast and windy here but reasonably warm. Feeling a a bit fatigued after yesterdays ride, the forecast of little wind seemed a bit off as I battled in to a block headwind for 35 miles.
Today seems to be a trip in to York to get some holiday clothes for my raggy arsed grandson.
