Friday: festivities finally fried

Back at it or, may as well can it: it's nearly the weekend?
Certainly time for coffee.

Off work till sunday as the company decided to take a days holiday off us and have a proper start on the monday as it takes a while to get the paint ovens etc up to speed but a few of us go in the day before for half a shift to start stuff up.
Today i have 2 doctors appointments, mrs ck has another one and mini ck 1 has an eye test .

Cold enough here for there to be ice on the inside of the glass in the front door. Going to see some English friends this afternoon who live 10 miles away, whose son I taught (15 years ago) and is also with them briefly, so it'll be nice to catch up. (They are the reason I bought the house here.) Need to do some laundry so I can get it out once it's above freezing and the sun can dry it a bit. Might wander around the block for some frosty photos this morning too.

Will get some bits to kill off what remains of the capon and make soup. More tartiflette and red wine awaits me this evening.

I dont work in the paint plant , its a totally separate area as i only see the unpainted body shell we build in body shop but we leave gaps in the lines to allow any work that needs doing over shutdown as maintenance and special project folk will still be in over shutdown.

Glad I did my ride yesterday as its a bit icy out there and the lanes will be very iffy.

Got another plumbing problem, so waiting for the unblocker people to come round and sort it. Definitely feeling like end of holidays now, as back to it on Monday after a decet 2 weeks off.

Back after my hiatus from social meeja/forums over Christmas to spend proper time in the kitchen/avoiding family. Hope you all had a good one?

Back in work today. I think I'm the only one in the whole building. Certainly the only one in our section here. Lovely! Sod all to do. Just finished deleting emails. Might do some yoga in a bit.
Got to lose 10kgs!!! Can't believe I'm such a fat bastrd now! Gulp!
