It's not bad weather, it's seasonally appropriate; have you tried putting the coffee in before posting?

Coffee consumed, desire to do outdoorsy things emerging but I've been out to play for 4 days already this week, so the home stuff's backing up.

Up a bit early for a day off but plenty to do. Spot of garden stuff and then make a start on the sim rig assembly. Senior hound is being taken to the vet on account of a wobbly tooth, could be expensive.

Dull and cool here too, coffee then pack the car and put bikes on, off to Aberdeenshire to see family, go to a Highland show and a sportif on Sunday.

Sams Ride North, in Aberdeenshire, doing it as it raises money for Samaritans (we have a friend who volunteers) and also the OH's sister lives up there so will stay with them.
The 7am start is a bit keen though

Morning folks. Steady pedal into work as I'm providing holiday cover for someone. Wished I hadn't agreed, but never mind. Certainly autumnal this morning as it was done to single digit temp, put waterproof on just warm me up a bit.

Not for another two and a half weeks, officially - she starts her first job on 8th Sept. Although staff discounts or doing 'friends & family' stuff for free isn't allowed apparently: also not I'm sure junior wants to operate on her own pet.

A trip for ingredients after work as well as screwfix for bits and bobs. As long as I don't get the two shopping bags mixed up all should be well.

That was an emotional hour - funeral service for the last remaining member of Gen +1, my mum's elder sister. Streamed online rather than me travelling down to Notts, not fit enough. Did have moisture squeezing out at times. In the right place, not that one!

Sun now poking through, time to get outside and do some Stuff.
