Flipping blink, is warm outside. A short walk dahn tahn for a haircut and back and I'm well sweaty betty again. No rain forecast for another week, things are getting very dry. Dug out the shorts for a bit of pootling about homewise, easy access to that outflow tubing, don't think I'll wear those down the street...

Afternoon folks,
Busy morning due to dealing with some unscheduled stupidity at work.
Junior managed to get on her way back to uni for the last 4 weeks then realised she had left some stuff behind that she needed, so I'll be off to the post office later to do a special delivery...
Time for a spot of lunch. Then may check the bike over before tomorrow's ride with a mate and his boss, who is apparently quite fast.

Brief town visit this morning. Had a browse through an LBS and found little to tempt me to buy at all. The road bikes all looked the same, and dull. The MTB's all looked like Tonka Toys, ridiculously oversized everything. Most of the clothing was black on black on black, or hi vis. I genuinely LOL'd at a pack of socks marked as "trail-specific". Marketing drivel at its finest.

Nice and warm in the sun, but a bit cooler in the shade with the wind. Nice cafe ride with OH though.

Evening all. Feeling abit meh today so rather than biking as planned ended up snoring most of the day. BP not playing ball at the moment. Here's hoping I feel better tomorrow. It comes and goes with no notice. More tests being planned I suspect as quacks and consultants abit clueless.
