Friday is for musical side projects

Probot might not be the most inventive of side projects, but as a tribute to all that is great about hardcore and metal from dayes of yore it's pretty hard to beat.

My favourite is Sweet Dreams, because King Diamond is cooler than a polar bears baws.

No genres, just good music (or not) that didn't quite fit with an artist's main band.

Jerry Garcia has loads of side projects away from the Dead, one I really rate is The Pizza Tapes, so called (I think) because a pizza delivery boy pinched the recordings. I've got the Extra Large version with 3 CD's, it's Jerry and a couple of mates running through a selection of songs and having a lot of fun. Recommended.

Dunno if @Foghat is still about but I'm sure he knows more about it.
