I saw him do this at the Rainbow in 1977, in the final section with the cannons his drum riser came out of the stage on a hydraulic jack and he played the final part upside down suspended over the first 20 rows of the audience. Incredible!
Taiko...good stuff. This lot are back in the UK in February- finally saw them live in 2009, and they were awesome. And louder than Motorhead were in the same venue....
I thought the drum solo in this was the coolest thing I had ever heard when I was about 12 years old. Drum solo starts at about 6:30. I haven't listened to this in a while. I still like it, just not as much as I did then.
We haven't had any Sly Dunbar yet, found this recently, the video quality isn't up to much but it's a pretty cool film. I believe Peter Tosh may have partaken of an exotic cigarette or two.
