I was pretty taken with the soundtrack to A Clockwork Orange by Wendy (was Walter) Carlos ...

I'm looking for a soundtrack recording of Beethoven's 9th, 4th Movement, but so far I can only find inferior 'tribute' copies. If I can find a genuine one later, I'll post it below. Anyway - that's my suggestion!

The other problem being the nature of the film ... I just found one recording but there are too many ultraviolent clips for me to post it!

Ok here is a version. Not quite what was used in the film, but I think it is the original Carlos work which was abridged for it.



Actually ... I think this might be a copy too! It captures the feel of the version I know but it is different.

I am surprised that Kraftwerk's Tour de France hasn't come up:



Kraftwerk were keen cyclists and the video is the band on bikes, they also used to get dropped from the tour bus a couple of hundred kilometres from a gig and cycle the rest!
