I always though the whole point of the Friday night is music night threads was that they were only supposed to last a few days -even posting after the weekend seems a bit late to me.

There seems no good reason to re-open one years later just to add some more tracks.

There don't appear to be any rules against necro-ing threads. So no matter how pointless I think it is, that would serve no purpose.

Well, it does serve the purpose of raising people's awareness of those bands!

Someone that I went to school with listened to a lot of that music back then**, but I never really got into it. I might start working my way through this thread to see what I think now.
