Back into listening to them again after many a year.
Funny how one goes through phases with certain bands.

Currently listening to the live album though headphones whilst Mrs watches recorded masterchef final...

Tough cookie - Hot Rod always makes my most played songs on i-tunes.

(I play it a lot while doing exercise) - and I love the little voice at the end saying "it's a love affair - mainly Jesus and my Hot Rod" - redneck America in a sentence!

I saw them in the Shepherd's Bush Empire a few years ago and it was an absolute riot of fun. Here they are a long time ago, very professional and slick...but strangely un-engaging perhaps?

My Ministry (and associated projects) phase has lasted 20 years...The live album? Which one? There are three official ones....
Looking forward to the new album & seeing them in July. I liked the last few, but this sounds like it's going to be up to Psalm 69 standard, the first single '99%' is a killer Seen every show they've played in London (. According to Al they might be over next year (this time they're doing a few US shows then full Euro tour, reverse next year) before putting Ministry to bed permanently. OK, he said that in '08, but I think he really means it now....
The Buck Satan album's pretty good, BTW. He's going to do another one of those and planning a blues record as well!
And this was gig no.1....
