All this accordion and violin is all very well and good, and they are quite easy instruments to work into "popular" music and "classics" - but for proper hard core genius you need bagpipes. And not your usual shite military bagpipes or even shitier North Englandshire folk music bagpipes, but a Rock and roll genius bagpipes - Ladies and Gentlemen, Bon

I dunno Dan McCafferty gave it a good go as well (but I don't think they were real pipes as such )

Dave Swarbrick in his heyday. This reminds me of a Sunday afternoon sailing in the Wash, out from Boston, with my late brother, singing along to this on the radio.
Christ, I'm getting maudlin tonight - the next track after this is "Who knows where the time goes" - which I've requested for my funeral. Better sign off now, while I'm still capable!

Good choice for the send off :becool:

This features a very big violin (or a small violinist )
